My weight loss goal is to lose 1 pound per week. That means that my daily calorie budget from LoseIt has a built-in deficit of 500 calories. On Thanksgiving, I ate more than 1300 calories OVER that budget, and yet 3 days later, my scale shows that I’ve lose 0.6 pounds in the past 7 days.
I ate like a king and am still making progress toward my goal. How is that possible? It’s because I look at the big picture. Do you?

This is so true. And the way I have eaten since learning how. I also lost .6 pounds after Thanksgiving, and I also had a 1 pound loss Thanksgiving morning.
As long as we never stop working toward our goals, we will find success, Charles!
