Yes. I actually dared bring politics into my podcast. Besides religion, politics is major one of the most polarizing topics. It can quickly bring out the ugly side of people.
Don’t worry. I don’t get too bad. (Just a little bad.)

I agree with you about logging and calorie counting, but I disagree that all calories or equal. I for one was trying to lose the weight that I gained back while counting calories and logging everything. I admit to the fact that I was not as active as I should have been but was active enough that with the calories I was eating I should have at least not gained any weight.
I have now managed to start losing again by not eating any starchy foods. No potatoes, no wheat and no rice. It was like I just switched a switch the weight started dropping. My belly starting dropping in size, my stomach stopped bloating and being so full of gas and my joints stopped hurting and I have been able to enjoy my walks again. I have been tested and the doctors say that while I am not allergic to wheat I am very sensitive to it. But they did not give me much more to work with. I do easy up and have brown rice every now and then but when I do I get the gas and some bloating. The same with potatoes. Wheat I have completely stayed away from. It is not easy to do but I am enjoying not having the stomach issues and the joint pain.
