Today’s guest is Brian Dunning. According to his online biography, he “exists as an entity.” Having talked with him during our inteview, I can confirm that statement.
However, in addition to being a corporeal entity, he is also a science writer, as well as host and producer of Skeptoid: Critical Analysis of Pop Phenomena (skeptoid.com), where he “applies critical thinking to urban legends and popular pseudoscientific subjects promoted by the mass media. “
I’ve listened to all 412 weekly episodes. He tackles serious and humorour topics, but always with the scientific method. He also provides his references on his website, for listeners to use as a jumping off point if they want to delve deeper into the subject. He shows are about 12 minutes long, which is a great length for a single topic discussion.
If you enjoy science, history, health, medicine, aliens, mythology, literature, or just about any other area of research, I encourage you to subscribe and start listening. Here is a link in iTunes.
His books are available in Amazon:
Some of Brian’s favorite foods:
I’m not sure why this is so good, but it really is! (The only place I have been able to find Vegemite is on Amazon. (Find the link below.)
But, Australia isn’t the only country with unique foods.
